All roads that were closed in the Tamworth Regional Council have now re-opened.
The roads still could be slippery so motorists are advised to exercise caution.
Live Traffic NSW still reports alpine conditions on the New England Highway from Armidale to Glen Innes.
UPDATE - 11.45AM, TUESDAY
Duncans Creek Road has also been closed at the base of the hills, Tamworth Regional Council has advised.
Meanwhile, the road between Port Stephens cutting and Niangala remains open.
However, the road is extremely slippery and motorists are advised to drive with caution.
Barry Road at Sheba Dams remains closed.
EARLIER
The overnight snowfall in the New England North West has brought with it potentially dangerous driving conditions.
Live Traffic NSW reports alpine conditions at different spots on the New England Highway south of Uralla through to Glen Innes.
Roads and Maritime Services have advised motorists to prepare for potential further snowfall and icy conditions.
Tamworth Regional Council has also reported the closure of Barry Road at Sheba Dams due to snow.
Motorists are advised to drive with care in the slippery conditions in the area, or avoid the area.
