For the past 50 years the Tamworth June Baseball Carnival has been packing venues all over the city, with over 800 attending last year, however this year the Country Rugby Championships and the NCHA Futurity at the AELEC also fall on the same dates.
Rex Guesthouse owner and creator of the Tamworth Last Minute Accommodation Facebook page Jody Ekert said "there won't be a spare bed in Tamworth that weekend."
Ms Ekert has already put the call out to residents with spare beds or rooms to help accommodate the influx of visitors, "and make a few bucks on the side."
"It is great - it is going to be one of the biggest weekends of the year," she said.
"There is a chance we might oversell the town, and have to start selling to other towns, which isn't ideal.
"If we want these events to keep coming, and we do, we have to work together because there is enough for everyone."

Ms Ekert started the Facebook page two years ago as a way for accomodation operators to communicate with each other, private operators to seek and find clients, and for visitors to find beds.
"The priority is to try and put the best face on Tamworth that we can," she said.
"We use it to try and prepare for big weekends like this, and find as many people accomodation as we can."
Despite being booked out for the past eight weeks, Econolodge owner Gerhard Labuschagne said he is still receiving "some pretty anxious calls from people" looking for lodgings on the long weekend.
The Ibis Styles and Motel 359 have also both been booked out well in advance, while online booking sites, like Trivago, also have very little to offer for the long weekend.
Business Chamber president Jye Segboer, who also operates the CH on Peel, said that while there are still a few rooms left he expects most will have been taken by the long weekend.
"Regional centres that can do events well survive all year round," he said.
"That is what we were trying to do with the events levy - we need a strategy that will drive events throughout the year and build income streams."
