It was the first year local supporters of the charity have put on a high tea to raise some goods and funds for the charity and it appeared there was a rush of support as the event approached.
Share the Dignity supports vulnerable women through a range of initiatives, across the nation, paying for funerals of victims of domestic violence, advocating for the abolition of the tampon tax and providing free sanitary items through the Coledale clinic.

There will also be a soap making workshop on Friday, May 31 at Splash on Peel raising money for Share the Dignity as well, although places are limited and were said to be filling fast.
