Opting to make the switch from rugby union back to rugby league during the off-season, Moodie has slotted straight into the Bears' lineup, scoring two tries against Boggabri last round.
Now the left centre is hoping to help keep his team's winning run going against the Narrabri Blues at Jack Woolaston Oval on Sunday.
"The wins so far have all come about because of a team effort," Moodie told the Leader.
"However, we are really working on our consistency because I don't think we have strung a complete 80-minute performance together yet.
"We didn't have too many lapses in concentration against Boggabri, but we have had them this season and we are looking to take them out of our game.
"Especially against Narrabri, they are a tough team with some really talented players, we will really need to be on our toes.
"It should be a great game."

Part of Pirates' three-straight premierships (2016-18), Moodie has found himself in a new role at the Bears - having made the move from five-eighth to centre.
"It's been really interesting to be back at the club for the first time since I last played here in 2012," Moodie said.
"I think I am still trying to find my feet a little bit at the moment but the club has been great and the boys have been really supportive.
"To be honest, I did play a little bit at number six during the trial matches but I just wasn't quite up to speed with it and it wouldn't have been best for the team.
"Plus we have the best number six in the Group, in Scott Blanch, there already.
"So we are pretty set there."
Moodie said a lot had changed in the region's sport since he last suited up for the Bears in 2012.
"When you come back after a few years off you do tend to pick things up pretty quickly," he said.
"However, I think one big thing that has probably changed a bit since I was last at the Bears is that our younger guys tend to get an opportunity at first grade earlier now than they did back then.
"It's not just in Group 4 either, it's in most sports.
"We are seeing some really talented young guys getting an opportunity at the top grade earlier than they would have in the past, which is great."
As for his old club, Moodie said he still has a soft spot for Pirates.
"It is a great club and it has been a little bit tough to see them have an up-and-down season so far," Moodie said.
"However, there are still some really talented guys there and some good young players coming through, so I'm sure they will turn it around."
The Bears will host the Blues from 3pm at Jack Woolaston Oval on Sunday.
