Tamworth's Tom Groth and Gunnedah's Zoe Fleming took out the male and female players of the year respectively.
Groth told the Leader it was an honour to take out the season's top award.
"It was a pretty good season from a Central North perspective," Groth said.
"At club level it was a little bit disappointing, but we had some good results at the country championships and had two Central North players picked in the NSW Country side.
"From that perspective it was a pretty good season."

As well as playing for South Tamworth, Groth also took the reins as Central North captain throughout the country championships and represented NSW Country.
"It was a busy season as captain," Groth said.
"Being a representative team it can be challenging to try and lead players from other parts of the zone, who you don't know very well.
"Luckily for me the guys made it pretty easy and it was a good experience.
"We have had some lean years at representative level, but I really think we are starting to grow and Central North will be competitive going forward."
In the process of captaining the side, Groth became the most capped player in Central North history.
However, the wicket keeper has his eyes locked on more club success next season.
"While you always want to play in finals, having not made it to the grand final this year might not be a bad thing," he said.
"It might light a bit of a fire in a few of our guys and inspire them to want to go again.
"We have experienced a lot of success in recent years and we have had a few guys move on, so the slight drop off is understandable.
"However, I reckon we have the ability to be a top team again and hopefully we can show that next summer."
