Q and A with vice-president Tom Carberry
NDL: As a team, what key areas do you want to improve upon from 2018?
TC: Most of our pre-season training was focused on strategy and developing our game sense, so I would say that was an area we were looking to improve upon.
NDL: Who has been your most improved player over the pre-season?
TC: I would have to say Andrew Hardy was probably our most improved player over the pre-season. He broke his leg during the Crossroads Cup, which is a real shame.
NDL: What will be your team's strengths this season?
TC: It's tough to say what our strengths will be this season. I'm not too sure what they could be, I guess we will just have to wait and see.
NDL: Who is the team to beat in 2019 and why?
TC: Inverell are always a pretty tough team to beat, even though we didn't see them at the Crossroads Cup. From what I have seen, I would say the Tamworth Swans look like the team to beat.
