Police say this weekend creates a perfect storm as a combination of school and public holidays draw to a close.
Already, two men have lost their lives in the past week in the New England, and several locals lost their licences in the Easter roads blitz.
P-platers who drove after 11pm with more than one passenger copped the wrath of police, along with speeding drivers.
"We have seen two fatalities on our roads, and that is tragic not only for their families and friends, and their communities, but also the passersby that stopped to assist and the emergency services that attended the scene," Oxley highway patrol Sergeant Michael Buko said.

"The ongoing cost to the community in terms of every loss of life on our roads is huge.
"We have a zero tolerance approach to those drivers who break the rules because we don't want to see anymore losses of life."
Drivers risk hefty fines and double the loss of points for any speeding, helmet, mobile phone and seatbelt offences.
Double demerits are in force until midnight on Sunday.
