The Wests Tigers captain is hungry to snap up another two competition points against the Gold Coast Titans but he also wants to spread his love of the game.
Mbye, who played his junior football on the Sunshine Coast, still remembers watching his NRL idols running around when he was a kid and how much it inspired him.

"For us to be able to inspire the next Billy Slater or the next Johnathan Thurston, the next Greg Inglis [who's] leaning on the fence next Saturday night, that's what it's about," Mbye said.
"It's about inspiring the local community here, the junior league here and growing the game. Not just at the top, but at the grassroots."
Mbye made a whirlwind trip to Tamworth on Thursday in the lead-up to the NRL clash with the Titans.
The fullback took in the sights and was impressed with what he saw.
But it was two things that stood out for him.
One was the state of Scully Park.
"Coming to the bush - it's a big part of rugby league. A lot of rugby league supporters are from the bush and to turn up to this venue, I think they've done an outstanding job with this field," Mbye said.
"The field looks like it's ready to go and I'm really looking forward to coming up here and having a game."
The other aspect of the trip that stood our for Mbye was the people.
"We've had some passionate rugby league people around today" Mbye said.
"We've had some extremely friendly people in Tamworth today.
"I've had a great day.
"They've made us very welcome, so can't wait to come up here next Saturday and really enjoy the local hospitality."
Along with the NRL clash, Farrer will take on Forbes' Red Bend Catholic College on the day.
