LPSC mayor Andrew Hope said the project would include civil and plumbing works, and local bobcat operators, plumbers, concreters etc. were "urged to register their interest and availability now".
"This project has the bonus of providing opportunities for contractors, trade persons and machinery operators to become involved in the construction phase plus providing a stimulus to the local economy," he said.
"Once surveys for the tender process are completed, requests for quotes will be called and announced shortly."

Councillor Hope said the infrastructure would be an invaluable asset, particularly in periods of drought, facilitating a supply of water to those who desperately need it.
The water station will be accessible around the clock when construction is complete at the Dragon Street site. It will replace the existing bulk fill water station.
LPSC's water services manager Rod Batterham said the new station would directly connect to the Quirindi water supply reticulation; offer onsite payment facilities for water; and have the ability to service large and smaller loads, such as the 1000L shuttles.
"The new site will also include a parking bay to keep the process from interrupting traffic and it can be monitored remotely to see how much water is being utilised," Mr Batterham said.
The project is funded by the federal government's Drought Communities Program and must be completed by June 30.
