POLICE have released CCTV images of the two men wanted after a frightening robbery where a service station attendant was splashed with fuel and threatened with being set alight.

On Tuesday afternoon, investigators published the photos as part of the manhunt to find the pair who escaped with cash after the robbery at Bellata in the early hours of Monday.
The men, who had their faces covered with a clown mask and a grey piece of clothing, were armed when they robbed the BP service station on the Newell Highway about 4.10am.
Armed with a broken bottle, the offenders splashed fuel on the face and upper body of the employee behind the counter, and even threatened to set him alight, until he handed over a sum of cash.
The pair then fled in a car, headed south on the Newell Highway, last seen speeding and driving erratically towards Narrabri.
One of the men is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 188cm tall, with a skinny build and was wearing a distinctive red shirt.
The second man is also described as Caucasian in appearance, about 165cm tall, with a solid build, fair skin, short black hair and was wearing a 'scary clown' mask.
Police are appealing for anyone that was on the Newell Highway shortly after 4am, and who might have seen the speeding car, or who might have dashcam footage, to come forward.
