In the feature race of the showcase meeting, the Japanese-born seven-year-old gelding - ridden by Christian Reith - edged the Ross Stitt-trained Blinkin Artie (Andrew Adkins).
The Jay Hopkins-trained Got Unders (Andrew Gibbons) was third, more than two-and-a-half lengths behind the winner.
Vega de Lago, trained by Quirindi's Geoff O'Brien and ridden by Greg Hall, finished sixth.
Italian Derby winner Goldstream, trained by Tamworth-based Cody Morgan and ridden by Samantha Clenton, was ninth - more than four-and-a-half lengths behind The Bandit.
