Mitchell Adams and Josh Walker have been selected to play for the Classic Wallabies when they take on a Central North Barbarians side in front of an expected crowd of 3,000 people at Moree's Weebolla Oval this Saturday.
Originally thinking they would be taking the field against the Classic Wallabies, as part of the Central North Barbarians side, the talented young duo were thrilled when they got the call to say they had in fact been chosen to play with some of Australia's greats.
"I was pretty excited," Walker said.
"I didn't expect it at all."
Adams echoed that sentiment, saying he was "shocked" when he found out.
Both are particularly excited to play alongside some of their idols, especially Lote Tuqiri.
"You watch them play when you're little, and now to play with them is pretty cool," Adams said.
"I'm most excited about seeing how they play and what they can teach us," Walker added.

However they admit they're likely to cop it when they go up against 16 of their Bulls teammates and clubmen who will be part of the Barbarians team.
"I think I'll have a bounty on my head for sure," Adams joked. "It should be pretty good though."
Bulls president Paul King said he was contacted by the Classic Wallabies asking if the club had any up-and-coming talented players who would be interested in playing for the green and gold on Saturday.
"Josh and Mitch immediately came to mind," he said.
"They're in the right age bracket in going further with their rugby and I think both of them can. It'll be a great experience for them."
Saturday's showcase event between the Classic Wallabies and Central North Barbarians will kick off at 5.10pm this Saturday, March 23. The feature match will be preceeded by a host of curtain-raiser matches and events featuring local clubs and players of all ages in what's expected to be a fantastic day of rugby.
