Why are you running for the seat of Barwon? I believe the voters in Barwon the opportunity to vote for a party that has sensible, sustainable, centrist policies. That is why I am running.
Why should people vote for the party you stand for? Sustainable Australia is an independent party from the political centre that priorities real issues like secure jobs via a more diverse economy and a sustainable environment. Sustainable Australia want to return real planning power to local communities. If the voters of Barwon want a socially, environmentally and economically sustainable Australia they should vote accordingly.
What are the top three issues in the electorate? Secure jobs, water allocation/drought, lack of fair funding.
Why should people vote for you? The major parties have lost their way. We need sensible policies that consider all people in society.
How do you propose to bring more jobs to the electorate? By slowing population growth we take pressure of the need to over-invest in unaffordable infrastructure projects in the major cities. From there we will be able to better invest in our regions and connect them more effectively to our capital cities. This will make them more inviting for investment. Not only does this rapid growth disadvantage regional funding but it encourages investment in property speculation rather than job-creating industries.

From there we will be able to better invest in our regions and connect them more effectively to our capital cities. This will make them more inviting for investment.
