Police allege a 49-year-old woman was growing cannabis in her backyard and back deck of a house in Glen Innes.

On Monday, police executed a search warrant on a house in Heron Street where they will allege she was growing 72 mature cannabis plans in garden-like plots and pots.
Police say they also discovered what they allege is cannabis leaf and seeds in the raid, which unfolded about 1pm.
A 49-year-old woman has been charged with cannabis cultivation and the possession of a prohibited drug and has been ordered to front court on May 29.
Meanwhile, a woman has been arrested and charged with threatening police with a plastic pole on Saturday night.
The 34-year-old woman made verbal threats of violence to police about 11:30pm on Saturday before arming herself with a plastic pole, police allege. They were forced to use capsicum spray before placing her under arrest.

Police had been called to the soccer fields on Grey Street to respond to a disturbance.
Police have charged her with affray and intimidating a police officer in the execution of their duty.
She will appear in Glen Innes Local Court on April 24.
