Tom Donelly has taken out the 2019 under-19 state championship during the weekend's NSW Track Championships in Gunnedah.
In an action-packed weekend of racing, Donelly had stiff competition from riders who had travelled from around the state and Queensland.
With more than 100 competitors taking part in the 125 race meeting there was action aplenty.
Gunnedah Motorcycle Club president Anthony Dall told the Namoi Valley Independent he was pleased with the event.
"All told it was a really great event," Dall said.
"We had a really great turnout and all of the competitors really gave it their all, which was great to see."

The event was not without it's challenges, organisers decided to postpone the second half of Saturday's events due to a severe thunderstorm.
"We did end up getting about 64 races in on Saturday before the rain hit," Dall said.
"It was then decided we would come back on Sunday and finish off, which didn't seem to bother any of the crowd.
"We're not complaining about the rain, it is one of those things and postponing the races was 100 per cent the right decision."
Donelly was not the only local product to walk away with a title from the weekend's competition.
Danny Woodhead and Shaun Fuller were among several local winners when they teamed up to take out the NSW state sidecar championship.
"It is always nice to see some of our members get up and take home a win," Dall said.
"I think all of our members did really well throughout the competition.
"They all had fun and it was pleasing for us to share in their success as a club."
Making up part of Gunnedah Shire Council's Weeks of Speed program, the event was opened by councillor Colleen Fuller and sponsored by the council.
"We have built quite a strong relationship with the council now," Dall said.
"It was really good to have Colleen Fuller along to help us kick things off.
"We are really grateful to the council for their support and look forward to that continuing in the future."
Dall said organising the event "wouldn't be possible without our volunteers".
"We are really lucky to have so many passionate people involved with our club," he said.
"When the storm and rain came everyone was so quick to put their hand up to help out.
"Everyone pitched-in and did what they could to get the show back on the road.
"We couldn't host an event like this without that kind of support and we are very grateful."
