The introduction of this service means communities will be connected to wider city centres via bus and train routes.
Royal Hotel Spring Ridge publican Tom Archer said this would be a great service to have.
"Anything that improves the life of these little country towns is good," Mr Archer said.
Mr Archer said it would be beneficial if the bus made it in time for the Tamworth to Newcastle, and Tamworth to Sydney trains.
"It'd be good for the community people to be able to travel to Tamworth and further and back," he said.

Tambar Springs Progress Association's Robyn Styles said it would be helpful for those in the small town.
"It’ll be handy for those who don't have transport, especially to reach doctors in Tamworth," Ms Styles said.
"The only transport out here is the school bus when it goes to Gunnedah."
The weekly services would be provided on a trial basis in the beginning, with services expected to start in the second half of 2019.
Tamworth MP Kevin Anderson said the small communities involved would be consulted on service plans before they were implemented and customers would be notified in advance of any service changes.
“Initially, the services will run once-per-week and the departure and return times will be determined in consultation with the community and will allow for a day-return trip," he said.
Mr Anderson said the trial would be a case of "use it or lose it" to determine whether it would become a permanent service.
