The smorgasbord is an opportunity for foodies to feast their eyes on the region’s most delicious, homegrown produce.
“We’re really excited to bring back some of the old favourites, plus welcome some new additions to the lineup for the festival,” Tamworth Regional Council event manager Barry Harley said.
“This is an opportunity for the whole region to get behind those regional products and produce.”

Back by popular demand is the pop-up bars in Fitzroy Plaza and the flavourful long lunch in Anzac Park.
But, this year the new addition not-to-miss is the high tea in the Botanic Gardens. “The whole town really gets behind it,” Mr Harley said.
The festival is in its eighth year and Taste in the Park is expected to attract hundreds with food stalls, bite-size treats and live entertainment in Bicentennial Park.
On the Friday nights the Fitzroy Pop-Up in the plaza will see it transform into a night time escape.
The annual Long Lunch will conclude the festival, held on the last day of the festival at Anzac Park. Using the finest produce in the region, this is the pinnacle event of the festival as the leading chefs in the region craftily create a three-course sit down meal.
The Taste Tamworth Festival runs from April 5 to 14.
