Beginning their campaign on Monday against Metro Thunder Inner West, the Sixers began their carnival on a losing note, unable to reach the Thunder’s total of 6-139.
With help from Henderson (41) and Livingstone (29) the Sixers drew close to eventually close out their innings at 4-122.

However, day two provided more joy for the Sixers with a stirring victory over Country Thunder South East.
Chasing 175 from 40 overs, the Sixers began their chase in shaky fashion losing wickets at regular intervals.
However, it was the patient batting of Livingstone (52 not out) at number three that helped his side seal victory with two wickets and two overs in hand.
Team volunteer Barry Pratten said Livingstone “controlled the game” on Tuesday.
“It was a very mature innings,” Pratten said.
“Ben ran between the wickets really well, he limited the amount he risks he took and stayed patient.
“He really was impressive and should be very proud of his knock.”
Pratten said the team would be “up for the challenge” when it lines up in a double header of twenty20 games on Wednesday.
“It has been very hot here in Dubbo so far through the carnival,” he said.
“I think it will be a really good test to see how the boys go.
“Hopefully they can keep the momentum going.”
