Race two of Tuesday’s meeting was the first win of the mare’s career and provided Oakenfull with his first winner of the day after Another Shelia ran second in race one.
Oakenfull said he was very pleased with the victory.
“It was a good win as I was quite concerned she wasn’t quite fit enough,” Oakenfull said.
“We have had drama after drama with her but she is a good mare and that was a good win.”

Oakenfull said the Inverell track held together well despite concerns arising due to the region’s recent heatwave.
“To be honest the track was a little bit of a mess after Boxing Day,” he said.
“There was always a bit of a question mark about whether it would hold up.
“However, there was a big effort from a lot of the local trainers to irrigate the track ahead of today [Tuesday] and they have done a great job.”
