Troy Windle, a self-described colourful bikie, is no stranger to rallying the riding community for a charity spin.
In the past, Mr Windle has helped organise rides to muster funds for children’s charities and sick kids, but this year he’s revved up about another cause.

He has been garnering interest in a ride for the farmers to be held on Australia Day, with all money raised going to the R U Aware, We Care drive.
“I was talking to a friend and her family who had to put down livestock and I decided, Australia Day, what better day go for a ride,” he said.
He plans to set off from the Western Ranges motorbike shop at 9am on January 26 heading towards Wallabadah, before trekking up to Nundle and back through Dungowan before finishing at the Oasis Hotel.
He said he’d already pooled some interest from local riders.
