Kookaburras captain Cameron Milne suspects that Court House will be weakened for the clash, due to players attending Gunnedah Jockey Club’s Christmas Hams meeting on Saturday.
It was a fate that would not befall his side, he insisted, because “my young lads don’t have Christmas parties [to attend on the day].
“Who knows what sort of side they [Court House] turn up with,” he said, adding: “The races are on, which normally means young lads tend to go to the races.”

Milne said Kookaburras would be missing “a couple” of players on Saturday due to holidays. But with no second-grade action this weekend, he would not be short of players, he added.
“The last two weeks haven't gone to plan .. But that game [against Mornington] could have gone either way .. it went their way, and good luck to them,” he said.
