Strong winds in Sydney have wreaked havoc on Qantas flights leaving Tamworth.

Two Tamworth to Sydney flights were cancelled on Friday while another was delayed.
Qantas’ 6.30am and 2.10pm flights were both cancelled while the airline’s 8.45am flight isn’t expected to leave the ground until 10.44am.

The carrier’s 3.10pm and 4.55pm flights are both scheduled to leave on time today.
Virgin’s 6.30am flight from Tamworth to Sydney departed on time and the airline’s 3.30pm flight is expected to run on time as well.
Neither of Virgin’s flights going Sydney to Tamworth have been affected by the winds.
Qantas’ 7.10am flight from Sydney departed 11 minutes after its scheduled time while the 12.40pm flight has been cancelled.
The airlines other three flights are expected to leave on time.
