It’s believed the man has remained trapped under the ute tray since the accident occurred at 10pm on Wednesday night.
The man has very serious leg injuries as well as other injuries from the incident and is being rushed by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service to Tamworth Hospital in a serious condition.

The accident occurred one or two kilometres north of Pilliga and once stabilised it’s understood the man will be taken to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle for further treatment.
