With Saturday’s 3-1 win over Demon Knights in the Premier League first grade grand final, Tamworth FC finished the season undefeated.
Kurt Barrow finished with a brace – something he’d done on six occasions leading into the grand final – while Josh Bartlett scored the other Tamworth FC goal.
Geoff Donnan scored the last goal of the game to put DK on the board.
Meanwhile in reserve grade, North Companions scored their second premiership in a row with a 2-0 win over Demon Knights.
The Premier League matches weren’t the only grand finals going on over the weekend with Northern Inland Football hosting a huge grand final weekend which kicked off on Thursday and finishes on Sunday with the women’s grand finals.
