A MAN has died following a motorcycle crash in Tamworth on Saturday night.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and have issued a call to the community for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
A man driving along Marathon Street, near Gunnedah Road, spotted a body lying near a motorcycle on the side of the road, just before 10pm on Saturday.
Tamworth police were called and located a 38-year-old Westdale man, who had died at the scene.

It comes after a 20-year-old man was killed near Glen Innes when the car he was in rolled down an embankment, injuring three others on board.
The Tamworth rescue chopper was tasked on a primary mission to Lower Creek near Armidale after a 70-year-old male was injured in motorcycle accident on the Kempsey Road.
He was flown to Coffs Harbour Hospital in a stable condition with lower limb injuries.
