The Roosters won 17-0, with their coach Damien Allan delighted by their rebound from a North Tamworth thrashing earlier in the finals.
“They had a lot better attitude,” Allan said.
“At training and then in the warm-up.
“You could tell they wanted it and played well.
“They turned it around well. It was awesome because Dungowan are a good side.”
Kooty led 5-0 after Abrianna Dow scored in the 10th minute.
They held that advantage until midway through the second half when Aimee Diebold grubbered and regathered and scored a great individual try.
She sealed the match two minutes from the end when she sliced through Dungowan’s defence to cross.
You could tell they wanted it and played well.

While she was a standout, Monique Cook, Georgie Lansdown, Kendall Horne and Tobi-Lee Clough also excelled.
Dungowan’s best were Hope Martin, Brianna Trickett, Sarah Stackman and Sarah Taylor.
