That may change on Saturday.
Tamworth FC will attempt to go through the regular season undefeated when they play third-placed Oxley Vale Attunga at Scully Park.
Bartlett said: “I don’t believe the players have been given the credit that they deserve. It’s a pretty big thing.”
The competition leaders have 16 wins, including two over OVA, and one draw.
Bartlett said finishing the season undefeated would be “pretty special”.
"I don’t think it’s been done too often,” he said, adding that only a “mad” person would have, at the start of the year, suggested that a Tamworth FC undefeated season was a possibility.

Bartlett said his players had only once previously spoken about going through the season unbeaten.
He can’t remember Tamworth FC having beaten OVA twice in a season.
“We’ve got a few players out but so have Oxley Vale,” he said of Saturday’s clash. “So there’s no excuses if we don’t win.”
