THE MAN accused of robbing The Good Guys in Tamworth while armed with a knife has pleaded guilty to a separate charge of drug driving on June 6.

Jeffrey Allan Smith is facing two larceny charges and one for using an offensive weapon in the alleged robbery.
The 33-year-old appeared in Tamworth Local Court via video link on Wednesday wearing prison greens.
Smith is being detained at Tamworth Correctional Centre.
Police prosecutor Alex Thom said detectives are still dealing with charges related to the June 28 hold-up.
Detectives allege Smith stole overalls, gloves, a mask from another store and a set of number plates from a car before the robbery.

The matters are adjourned until September 12, with detectives to serve more evidence.
