Rural Aid Australia will receive 50 cents for every pizza sold nation-wide at Domino’s, with $1200 raised in Gunnedah and Tamworth stores. The funds are in addition to a $40,000 donation from Domino’s registered charity Give For Good.
Gunnedah and Tamworth francisee Mark Coyle said the Gunnedah store was well-supported.
“Domino's Gunnedah raised around $300 with a 45 per cent increase in sales for Wednesday,” he said.
“It was good to see how well it was accepted by the public. We definitely want to be a big part of the community out here.
“I think it will be something we do every couple of months now.”

Nationally, Domino’s hoped to raise $100,000 and exceeded this by more than $74,000.
Rural Aid CEO Charles Alder said the charity was thrilled to be the recipient of Domino’s national Doughraiser.
“The money Domino’s helped raise will make a huge difference in the lives of hundreds of Aussie farmers,” Mr Alder said.
“It will allow us to continue our work in delivering much-needed fodder, water and groceries to the farming communities that need it the most.”
