The teams are under-13 boys, under-15 boys, youth girls and under-17 boys.
Neil Dunn, AFLNW junior coordinator, said there had been a “massive increase in player interest as only one team from NW attended the carnival last year”.
It will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday.
On Monday night, there will be a dinner and jersey presentation at C.ex Coffs for all junior rep players and their families.
Other teams attending the carnival are Hunter, Central Coast, North Coast and Northern Rivers.
Sydney Swans Academy recruiters will be in attendance.
“There has been a great sponsorship and partnership that has formed between AFLNW and the Northern Region Aboriginal Land Council,” Dunn said.
The North West teams are filled by players from Armidale,Gunnedah, Inverell, Moree,Tamworth and Walcha.
Dunn said the players were selected from junior gala days at Tamworth, Inverell and Moree.
The AFLNW rep teams played against North Coast in Tamworth on June 9.
North Coast won the under-13, under-15 and youth girls, while North West won the under-17 contest by 25 points.
“This [under-17] game was very exiting to watch, with these bigger boys playing very solid footy,” Dunn said.
