Jeremy Scott was born with a hole in his heart but life saving surgery as a toddler set him on a path to become an inspiration to young and old around the world. With practically no experience or training, Jeremy took an unbelievably courageous plunge and began a 2 ½ year, 52,000km bicycle ride through 29 countries from England to Australia and New Zealand, he even passed through our region.

Now he’s coming back to New England with an entertaining and inspirational 45 minute talk as part of his 2018 tour of NSW, Victoria and ACT.
Jeremy’s route took him from the United Kingdom to France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, China, South Korea, Japan, China, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand.
Encounters with the Iranian and Filipino Mafia had Jeremy fearing for his life but beautiful acts of kindness offered by strangers throughout the world make this a beautiful story of self-discovery and will leave you feeling genuinely inspired.
Jeremy’s presentation titled “The Long Road From A Broken Heart” includes stunning photographs from the road that will render you speechless. It is not only a story about life in the saddle, it is story about the beautiful side of humanity and an example of what someone can achieve if they believe in themselves and have the courage to chase their dreams. To date Jeremy has raised over $50,000 for the New Zealand, Australian and British Heart Foundations. He continues to support these charities through speaking engagements and book sales.
