AN ELDERLY man is being airlifted from Narrabri by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.

The 74-year-old is reportedly suffering from a medical condition involving his brain, and a medical team is on hand to stabilise him.
Westpac Rescue Helicopter aircrewman Graham Nickisson said the man wasn’t feeling himself and was concerned about it.
“They deemed it a serious problem whatever it is, we don’t have the qualifications to look at the medical side but he’s being taken to Tamworth Hospital,” he said.
The ride is expected to take 35 minutes.
