The 45th National Cutting Horse Association’s Futurity will see 500 riders from all over the globe, ranging from amateurs looking to have some fun, to the circuit professionals, battle it out for a cut of over $700,000 in prizes across two weeks of non-stop action.
The event kicked off with the first go-rounds of the open classic and the feature $75,000 Futurity, the final of which will be the final event on a huge day of finals on Sunday June 10.
The Futurity go-rounds continue on Wednesday before the Open Classic and Snafflebit futurity competitors take centre stage on Thursday.
The Snafflebit is a new addition to the Futurity program this year having previously been contested at the NCHA National Finals held earlier in the year.
