POLICE were hunting three men on Monday night who robbed a superette in South Tamworth.

The dog squad was called in to try and track three offenders last seen running from the Hillvue Superette on Hillvue Road shortly before 6pm.
A crime scene was set-up and the shops cordoned off by police tape as close to a dozen officers scoured the area.
Police confirmed one person was taken to Tamworth hospital. It was believed they were being treated for shock.
It’s understood the offenders fled with a sum of cash. They were last seen wearing dark clothing.
Oxley detectives have taken charge of the investigation.
Police are appealing for anyone who might have seen the moments before or after the robbery, or who might have seen the offenders running from the store, to contact Tamworth police on 6768 2999.
