Share The DigniTEA was held at Hopscotch Restaurant & Bar, raising money so females can access the essentials of sanitary items.
One of the organisers, Min McDonald, said it had been “a really exciting and successful afternoon”.

“Hopscotch very kindly donated $500 – the proceeds of the event – to Share the Dignity,” she said.
“We were also able to collect three giant furniture boxes full of products for women in need.”
Share the Dignity aims to help those experiencing homelessness, domestic violence and poverty.
The donated items will go to places in the Tamworth area such as women’s shelters, high school welfare departments and youth centres.
The funds will go towards vending machines in strategic locations that dispense these items for free.
Hopscotch Restaurant & Bar owner Jay Lynch said he was “really pleased to support community fundraisers for good causes like this”.
“It think it’s really a win-win when people get to get together, have a great time and enjoy each other but also know that time is funding people who are less fortunate,” Mr Lynch said.
“The buzz in the room was really quite amazing, I’d guess because it was such a positive cause and because people were having such a great time.”
