The 49-year-old man was arrested by Gunnedah police on Tuesday in connection with a break-in that occurred at a Lochery Road property between January 22 and 24, 2015.
Police will allege in court the man stole $25,000 worth of goods from the property including a substantial amount of jewellery and a laptop.
Forensic officers combed the 2015 break-in scene but the investigation stalled.

The Namoi Valley Independent understands the breakthrough came in April when forensic evidence matched samples taken from the crime scene in 2015, culminating in this week’s arrest.
The man has been charged with break, enter and steal. He was granted conditional bail to appear in Gunnedah Local Court in June.
