We photographed just over 1000 kindergarten kids for the photo feature and we’re excited to showcase them in Thursday’s print edition.
There were 35 schools that took part in the feature from across the Tamworth region and beyond.
Twelve Tamworth primary schools were snapped in addition to 23 surrounding schools who took part, including as far south as Willow Tree and Quirindi, north-west to Manilla and Barraba, north to Moonbi and east to Nundle.
The lift-out has become an annual feature in the NDL for several years now, showcasing the newest faces in the schoolyards.

There were just over 1000 kindergarten children from 60 classes who put on their smiles, and some tears.
