LOCALS of all ages have braved the early morning to gather at the Gunnedah cenotaph on Conadilly Street to mark Anzac Day 2018.

The Gunnedah RSL sub-branch played host to the event which also featured songs such as amazing grace and speeches from speakers including Gunnedah Salvation Army Captain Richard Day and sub-branch president Peter Kannengiesser.
Included in the ceremony was a stirring renditions of the ''The Rouse'' ''Reveille'' which brought the large crowd to attention.
The Gunnedah RSL sub-branch will also play host to the annual Anzac Day march and mid-morning service later in the day.
The assembly point for the march is the corner of Marquis and Elgin streets, outside Mitre 10 from 10am.
