TWO National Rugby League teams are making their way to Tamworth this week for an historic clash at Scully Park on Saturday, but a turf-war over the town has already played-out on Twitter

While it’s officially the Wests Tigers’ home match the Newcastle Knights have jousted the joint-venture on social media predicting a big red and blue presence at the game.
A large part of the Tamworth crowd will be donning Knights’ colours, the team’s official Twitter account boasted.

Organisers said the match has sold out.
