A WOMAN will front court next month charged in connection to a head-on crash which claimed the life of a Narrabri teenager.

The crash happened about 6.45pm on April 2 on the Kamilaroi Highway, about 5km from Boggabri.
The southbound Toyota Camry collided with a northbound Honda Civic, carrying five people.
An 18-year-old Narrabri man, who was a backseat passenger in the northbound Civic, suffered critical injuries and died at the scene.
The driver, an 18-year-old woman, and two other passengers, a woman also aged 18 and a man aged 19, were seriously injured.
The driver of the Camry, a 48-year-old woman from Karangi, also suffered serious injuries.
All were taken to Tamworth Base Hospital by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter and road ambulance.
The Oxley Crash Investigation Unit has been examining the cause of the crash, and combed the crash scene as well as the wreckages, as part of its investigation.
Following the 48-year-old woman’s release from hospital, investigators charged her with several offences including dangerous driving occasioning death, two counts of dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, negligent driving causing death, negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, and two counts of causing bodily harm by misconduct in charge of motor vehicle.
The woman has been ordered to appear in Tamworth Local Court in May.
The crash blocked the highway for several hours.
