Primary school children across the region showed off their crafty creativity when their schools held Easter hat parades this week and last.
Some schools also held Easter raffles and other activities such as “grandfriends” day.
There were big hats, small hats, neon hats, pastel hats, traditional hats, out-there hats, wacky hats and simple hats.
There were bunnies, chicks, eggs, ducks and even dinosaurs.
There were ribbons, streamers, stickers, glitter, cardboard, texta and foam.
And we won’t even go into the hours it must have taken to fashion these little numbers.
Suffice to say, the Easter hat efforts of children – and/or their parents – from the New England North West have been most impressive.
We take our hats off to them.
