The first XVs from TAS, Sydney High and Sydney Grammar will again play in competition against the third XVs from five fellow GPS schools from opens down to 13s.
The school’s season will kick off with matches against Orange’s Kinross Walaroi School at Coonabarabran on May 5.
Three pre-season games will preface the first GPS competition fixture against The Scots College on June 2.
TAS will then play St Ignatius’ College Riverview, Sydney Boys’ High, St Joseph’s College Hunters Hill and re-play Sydney Grammar before meeting The King’s School and Shore School.
These matches run from June through to August.
“Our students, coaches and families are looking forward to another wonderful year of rugby across the age groups,” TAS director of co-curricular Will Caldwell said.
“The GPS third grade competition is highly valued by those involved for its competitiveness, and we are again grateful to those schools who will visit us in Armidale and our staff who make the away trips possible.”
Meanwhile organisation is underway for the 14th TAS Rugby Carnival on 14-15 April.
