Police have thanked the public for their assistance.
EARLIER
POLICE are searching for a man in Tamworth who disappeared in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Les Hodges was last seen in the Longyard area in Tamworth about 1.30am.
Mr Hodges was reported missing on Tuesday morning and police said they had initiated searches for the missing 62-year-old with fears for his health.
A spokesperson for Oxley police said officers had concerns “for the welfare of Mr Hodges who may need medical assistance”.
Mr Hodges is described as Caucasian, about 170cm tall with a thin build.
He was last seen wearing blue shorts, a blue checkered button-up shirt, brown boots and a blue cap.
Police said he has short white hair and was clean shaven.
