Fire and Rescue NSW crews were called to reports of a single-vehicle fire near Warral early this morning.
Oxley police told The Leader there had been a string of cars being torched over the last three days.
“Overnight there was another at Spains Lane,” a police spokesman said.
“It is suspicious.
“It was a broken down car that had been left there, and found alight. Inquiries are continuing.
“It’s a worry for us anytime but the weather conditions are adding to that.”
