Why did you enter the quest?
Along with the enthusiasm of participating in confidence boosting engagements such as public speaking and leadership roles, I would love the opportunity to become more involved in both the music festival and the Tamworth community. It would be an hour to be an ambassador, and meet like liked, determined women.
What is the most interesting thing about you?
I consider myself to be an extremely creative person and love art, music and trying new things out of my comfort zone. I enjoy painting, reading and sewing in my spare time and my favorite food is watermelon sandwiches. I have recently completed a working gap year in Tamworth after completing my HSC in 2016, and am now going to Western Sydney University in 2018 to study a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery.
Where would you send someone to visit if they were in Tamworth for the first time?
I would have to send a new visitor to Tamworth to the Big Golden Guitar Tourist Centre. The center is home to hundreds of fun and ecliptic nick nacks for all tastes, along with an excellent gift shop with all sorts of souvenirs for Tamworth. It is well worth the visit to the wax museum showcasing plenty of our County And Western singers, while there is also a display of paintings and Cricket Memorabilia related to the late Sir Donald Bradman.

What is your favorite thing about the country music festival?
The thing I love most about the country music festival is how it brings our local community together by all engaging and interacting together in the electric atmosphere. Not only that but the variety of visitors the festival attracts and how it influences us all to become a more culturally diverse population.
Who or what is your favorite band and or song?
From a very young age my grandparents would always play Jonny Cash around the house so I would have to say any of his songs are my favorite having grown up with his music
What has been the best thing about the queen quest so far?
The thing I have enjoyed most about the quest so far would have to be participating in the toast masters course. It has really been beneficial to my public speaking skills and confidence about speaking in front of foreign people. Along with this, making good friends with the other Queen entrants has been a massive highlight as they are all such lovely like minded girls.
What would you do if you were crowned queen?
Being crowned the Queen of Country Music would be an exceptional honor. I would ensure I would do my best to fulfil the duties of queen and be the best possible ambassador for our beautiful city Tamworth as I could be.
What queen responsibility or perk are you most looking forward to?
One responsibility I am most looking forward to throughout the festival would definitely be presenting to the visitors and locals of Tamworth as an ambassador. I am extremely excited to become so approachable and educate people about all the great things Tamworth has to offer.
