Dressed as the jolly man in red and white, more than 900 people dug deep and took part in the annual charity Santa Pub Crawl.
The event is organised by the Rotary Club of Tamworth First Light, and raises money for the local Ronald McDonald House, a “home away from home” for families of children requiring medical treatment in Tamworth.
This year’s crawl started at West Diggers, making its way to The Post Office Hotel, The Tudor, The Imperial, The Tamworth, The Courthouse, and finishing at The Albert.
“We had over 900 Santas and everyone dug deep," organiser Chris Watson told The Leader on Sunday.
“We already have over $15,000 but it’s pushing towards $20,000 for the Ronald McDonald House after we count all the coins.
“Numbers were slightly up on last year. It’s seen such great growth over the years.
“Everyone was well-behaved, and everyone was there for the right reasons.”
