The Gala Draw was held on Wednesday night with Narwan Eels Gold getting the easiest first round draw.
The gold side will have the bye and move straight through to the second round while Narwan Eels Blue will take on Bloodlines first up.
Moree Boomerangs 1 will meet with Lake Macquarie Stingrays and Moree Boomerangs 2 will clash with Nambucca Rams.
Narwan Eels Gold and Moree Boomerangs 2 are both in the same quarter of the draw and if both teams get past the first three rounds, they will meet in the quarter finals on Sunday.
The same goes for Narwan Eels Blue and Moree Boomerangs 1 who are also in a quarter of the draw together.
Both clubs will also field teams in the women’s competition along with the under 12s, 15s and 17s competitions.
Hosted by last year’s winning side, the Redfern All Blacks, the four-day carnival will kick off at Leichhardt Oval on Friday, September 29, with finals to be held on Monday, October 2.
