TWO Tamworth restaurants have come away with accolades in the highly coveted 2017 Gourmet Traveller Wine Awards.

The Workshop Restaurant at the Quality Hotel Powerhouse was awarded a two glass rating for its wine list after receiving a one glass rating in 2016. The Glasshouse Restaurant at Goonoo Goonoo station received a one glass rating.
“Our wine list has 184 wines with 42 by the glass. We will continue our commitment to providing our guests the opportunity to experience the evolving world of wine, beer, spirits & cocktails”, The Workshop food and beverage manager Daine Cooper said.
After opening less than a year ago, Simon and Sarah Haggarty, owners of Glasshouse Restaurant, are delighted that their wine list was recognised in Awards.
