Lovers of vintage cars will be in their element in Tamworth this Queen’s Birthday long weekend.

Tamworth Vintage car Club Inc is hosting the North West Rally. This Rally has a long tradition, with annual hosting shared between Gunnedah, Narrabri, Moree, Inverell and Tamworth.
This year invitations have been extended to 17 clubs including; Classic & Specialist Car Club of Northern NSW Inc, Gunnedah Vintage Vehicle Club Inc, Inverell Antique Motor Club Inc, Kootingal Motor Club Inc, Namoi Valley Antique Vehicle Club Inc, Tamworth & Districts Antique Motor Club Inc, Moree Motor Enthusiasts Club, Standard & Triumph Car Club of NSW, Coonabarabran Automobile Restorers Society and The Rover Owners’ Club.
Tamworth MP Kevin Anderson will be the special guest at the opening event on saturday morning.
This year’s events include visits to the Manilla Machinery Fair, Bob’s Shed motoring display at Quirindi as well as the Quirindi Heritage Display and Museum, also at Quirindi. The Rally will conclude with breakfast at the Westpac Helicopter hangar at Tamworth airport.
