A NSW Lotteries spokesman said the more time that elapsed, the less likely it was for the winner to make their claim.
However, he conceded that the unusual time of year might be causing the delay.

Meanwhile, the suspense is killing city residents, who continue to check with their family members and friends on whether they might have purchased the winning ticket.
“Normally winners come forward within a week of the draw,” NSW Lotteries’ Matt Hart said.
“People often have a routine of checking their tickets when they buy the next one.
“However, the Easter break may disrupt this routine.”
The Tamworth resident or visitor bought the ticket from Memories Newsagency in Tamworth Square.
They have won a 1/15th share of the division one prize in March 24’s Saturday Lotto $20 Million Superdraw, snagging a cool $1.3 million.
The entry was unregistered, meaning officials have no way to find them unless they check their ticket and make contact with NSW Lotteries or the newsagency.
The winning numbers were 30, 19, 10, 39, 33 and 23, and the supplementary numbers were 17 and 34.
